What Type Of Snowboard Bindings Should I Get?
I want a good pair of snowboard bindings for my K2 Illusion. I want them be really attractive but at the same time efficent. I would like them to be relatively cheap. Maybe around $135. What good deals are out there? Where can i find a pair?

Snowbunny answers:
You might be able to get a pair of Bentmetal Biscuits or Rome Arsenals for that price… I think the rome 390′s the cheapest you could find would be around 160, But those other two are both good choices I have them both on a few different boards.
You should be able to find them on these sites.

John asks…
Do snowboard bindings work with regular shoes?
I want to use a snowboard for sandboarding.. I was wondering, would wearing regular shoes (they’re Vans..) still work with the bindings? I dont want to use snowboots, they’re too heavy for the sand
Thanks!

Snowbunny answers:
Snowboard bindings will work with your boots as long as the binding size is small enough. You can usually get the straps tight enough to give you some leverage on the board.
I actually tried this last year and used regular shoes. The only problem I had was that there was too much wax on my snowboard so it just stuck to the sand. So my only advice is to get as much wax off your board as possible before goin. Besides that have a blast!!

Lizzie asks…
What type of conversion kit should i get for my snowboard bindings?
I have shaka forum 2011 snowboard bindings. I just got a burton custom flying v snowboard and the m6 conversion kit is to large for the bindings and wont work. Is there a smaller conversion kit that will work or do i need to buy new bindings?

Snowbunny answers:
Send Forum an email and tell them which board and bindings you have along with the model year. Forum is who you want to buy the conversion disc from, and since they’re owned by Burton they’ll have what you need. Every company’s conversion disc will be slightly different and designed to work specifically with their bindings. I don’t know which m6 kit you bought, but if it was made for Burton, Union, or Flux bindings etc… Than it might not match up well with Forum bindings.

Ken asks…
What degree should i set my snowboard bindings at?
I’ve snowboarded for about 3 years, but i just recently bought my own snowboard so i’m not familiar with the degrees. I like to just cruise down hills freeriding, but i also like to hit up the terrain park.. wat’s a good degre to set my bindings at i snowboard regular foooted.

Snowbunny answers:
If you wakeboard, set the bindings the same as the ones on the wakeboard. If you skateboard, hop on the board and ride a few feet. Get your feet in your usual riding position. Come to a stop, but don;t put your feet down. Have a friend mark your foot position with chalk. Transfer the stance width and angles from the marks.
